Tiffany and Nate Crow

This is a sneak peak at a wedding I did at Sundance at Creekside over Memorial Day Weekend. I was so excited for this wonderful opportunity to make these beautiful vuluptious arrangements! I forgot to take pictures of the bridal bouquet and boutonnierre, so those will come shortly:)

Loved these window arrangements

Joe and Kaylene's Wedding

Joe and Kaylene were such a fun couple. They had bridals done in sneakers and balloons, that sums up their awesome personality:) Photography done by Braxton Bruce Photography, flowers done by me.

Summer Fun

Some of the best flowers for summer wedding bouquets are hydrangea, lilies, peonies, daisies, sunflowers, roses, gardenias, magnolias, delphiniums, dahlias, orchids and wax flowers.
Give new life to summer wedding bouquets with bright color and fun detail. Either go with monochromatic color for your bridal bouquet (like shades of blue) or mix and match bold beachy hues like coral and yellow.

Summer and Spring

With Spring coming to a close and summer just around the corner, I recently found this picture of a lovely bouquet that ties both seasons in. It has almost a fresh beach feel to it with the delicate pastels, yet pure spring flowers including tulips, rhanunculus, lysianthiums and freesia

Hot Pink May Day Wedding

This beautiful May wedding is all pink. The lilies really bring out the fullness in the bouquet while the tulips and rhanunculus' make it soft and sweet. I have to admit it is one of my favorites.

These Mother's Corsages turned out so light and springy. I love them

Welcome Lady Katy

The world welcomes Lady Katy as the new Duchess of England. The wedding was the epiphany of simple elegance. The royal couple went with a well known 'green' florist, and her bouquet was stunningly simple, English Lilies of the Valley. Setting the trend for all upcoming events this year as stunningly elegant yet not over the top. Little known fact about the bridal bouquet- it had a piece of history. The princess kept up a tradition that dates back to the 19th century and the wedding of Queen Victoria by including a sprig of myrtle from that tree that still grows in Victoria's personal garden. Myrtle is known as "the herb of love" and is believed to symbolize a long and happy marriage. After the ceremony, the myrtle sprig is planted in the bride's garden by her bridesmaids (the bride never does it herself). An old legend claims that if the myrtle doesn't root, whoever planted it will be an old maid.
