Christmas Bouquets

Beautiful bouquet and boutonniere to bring in the Holiday Season. The roses were perfect in their deep red color to touch off an elegant wedding.

Christmas is such a wonderful time for sharing and giving. This bouquet I made for my dear Aunt who helps us so much - incorporating silver and Christmas red and then filling the vase with cranberries to be more festive

Weddings So Easy Covershoot!

I had the wonderful opportunity to partner with Kim Bullock Photography again the other day and make this beautiful vintage winter bouquet for a covershoot of Weddings So Easy Magazine! I decided to perfectly capture the essence of winter it would be best to use soft ivory and brown hughes incorporating roses, calla lillies and scabiosa, making it modern with a touch of lime tulips and top the season off with the silver seeded eucalyptus.

Simplicity and Country

Simplicity can be key. Check out this beautiful bouquet of chamomile and baby's breath. A perfect accent of country charm and white elegance. Great for that mountain country outdoor wedding you have always been dreaming of.

Fall Bliss

This centerpiece is a piece I made for my baby girl's first birthday. All of the flowers were picked from our garden, love how it turned out with the hydrandeas, garden roses and wild sunflowers:)

Fall Feathers

As we have seen everywhere, feathers are HUGE this year! Adding them to a fall bouquet, or making a statement with a manly boutonniere of feathers and leaves is a wonderful choice to accent your fall wedding.

Bill and Lydia's Wedding

I had the good fortune to do flowers for some very good friends this summer. I wish them happiness always!

This is why I always recommend having flower girls. They really are so adorable!

The happy couple. Wishing you years of joy!

Dahlia

Dahlia's, Dahlia's, oh how I love you Dahlia's! It's getting to be that season where Dahlia's are popping up everywhere. They come in so many different colors and you can make them look elegant and classy like this bouquet or rustic with oranges and reds and country styled. The possibilities! It just gets me excited and filling my design notepad with fun ideas!

Fourth of July Vintage Engagement

Creating a fun styled shoot for your own engagements doesn’t have to be difficult. In fact it is the simple things that make your engagements unique, fun & all about you. Your favorite drink, your favorite treats, location or recreating your first date, proposal or when the moment you knew you were in love. Your engagement session should be memorable, fun & showcase your love for each other.
This gorgeous shoot was created by keeping simple & fresh in mind.
Kim Bullock Photography was able to capture not only simple & fresh but fun as well. The beautiful color palate of red, teal & white went off with a smash. The paper products added the perfect touch. Megan with Modify Design actually designed the patterned paper for the cute pin wheels. She then printed the paper & made them. What a talent she is & they are so cute. She offers a variety of fun things from invitations, save the date cards, banners & cupcake toppers. Megan was a great part of this shoot. She not only kept on up with the perfect color palate & Fourth of July theme but she had the perfect idea of handing out sparklers as thank yous for the guests to use. What a perfect idea especially for the Fourth of July Holiday.
Marynika with
Blossoms & Company did a great job with the flowers. Sometimes I think brides get too excited about a theme and it can get cheesey. Keeping things classy and simple made the flowers flow with all the other details. They added in some fun food products from The Cocoa Bean, because food is such an important detail in receptions. The fruit in the jar was a fun presentation and who can pass up red velvet cupcakes?! They wanted it to be a fun picnic with a beautiful theme and I think it turned out great.
Kim’s idea for photography was to capture all the color the shoot was going to have. She also really wanted to create a feel for the pictures of being in love, since this is a real engagement session their love really showcased perfectly. This shoot wasn’t just about the couple for Kim it was also about the setting, which helps show the atmosphere for the pictures. So a beautiful field, an amazing barn and sun shining over the mountains was a great setting for this shoot.
What a fun Fourth of July shoot. Special thanks to
Kim Bullock Photography for sharing these beautiful images with us & for the amazingly talented vendors who helped make it all happen.

Peony Season

'Tis the season for peonies. A couple of weeks ago a dear friend of ours dropped off this gorgeous bucket of peonies, I decided to have some fun and have had lovely scented peonies in my house for a while now.

I also had a peony accented wedding this weekend. The bride just wanted a little posy, and then freesia's accented the bouquet in the form of boutonniere's and corsages. So delicate and sweet!

Natalie Groomals

Natalie has been such a doll to work with! I was ecstatic to have the opportunity to do her flowers. On top of that, she used an amazing photographer: Camilla Carvalho Binks and her mom is Nancy of The Nancy Barrus Couture found at Avenia Bridal (hence the amazing lace gown!)
